Hard Disk Fail!
If you think getting a lame theme for your computer isn’t cool, then I bet having a failed hard disk for your computer is way too unbearable. Yes, the family computer’s hard drive DID fail. I once took a picture of the monitor showing the hard disk failure message and wanted to post it on the Fail Blog but thought the message was too blurry. LOL

Lights out, everyone!
The first global election between earth and global warming (not warning, haha) has taken place all over the world last March 28, 2009. And, of course, my family and I participated for this annual event by switching off all the lights in the house for one hour and lit up a couple of candles instead. Mother Nature for the win! 
So we also watched the special on Studio 23 (channel), the live telecast of the launching and closing of the Earth Hour on Mall of Asia. The program was pretty great, not to mention there were three great performances all in one hour (yes, and they were all world-class. lol). Lea Salonga our presitgious Filipina theater performer sang “From a Distance” (by Bette Midler) and, like always, she took my breath away (maybe coz I didn’t hear any loud breathing while she was performing?!) Gary Valenciano, on the other hand, showed the crowd that he still is Mr. Pure Energy even in his 40s.
It’s really hard when your computer is jammed at the moment (like mine).

SpeedBit, the authors of DAP, shows off a video accelerator that claims to play video smoothly in “more than 150 websites” like YouTube called SpeedBit Video Accelerator.
Pros: Yes YouTube videos do play smoothly and glides with your internet speed very smoothly. Installation and setup is a breeze.
Cons: Online videos play so flawlessly, that you can’t even do much on other tabs, if you are using any browser that has some. Installation may be a breeze, but uninstalling the program is very annoying and tricky. It tells you that it couldn’t read the INSTALL.LOG file.
Solution: But it wouldn’t really be annoying if you have a workaround for removing the program. Here’s the trick: move the INSTALL.LOG file (located in the program’s folder located in the local disk) to your Desktop before uninstalling the program. Then, when you start uninstalling it (UNWISE.exe), it will open a little window that lets you look for the INSTALL.LOG file. Go to Desktop, then select that file you moved, then the uninstalling process should move smoothly.
